About CITY COUNCILMAN Randy White
Randy White was born in Jacksonville, Florida and is a westside native who loves his community. He attended Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, Reynolds Lane Elementary School, Joseph Stilwell Junior High School, and graduated from Paxon Senior High School in 1972. He has been married to his wife, Julie, since 1978. They have two daughters, Kristy and Misty, two successful son-in-law‘s, and five grandchildren. Randy and Julie attend Rise Church on the westside of Jacksonville.
Randy enjoyed a 32 year career with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and retired in 2011 as the Deputy Director Assistant Fire Chief. He served as president of the Jacksonville Association of Firefighters from 2002-2003. Throughout his career he was a member of the Jacksonville Association of Firefighters, International Association of Firefighters, International Association of Fire Chiefs, and Florida Fire Chiefs Association. He is currently an active member of the Retired Jacksonville Association of Firefighters, Riverside Rotary Club, Wesconnett Masonic Lodge, and Morocco Shrine.
Since serving as our City Councilman since 2018, Randy has prioritized public safety and increased police patrols to fight crime, has focused on community investment and infrastructure for the Westside and worked toward a balanced budget while keeping taxes low.
